History of GRFC
Green Ronin Fencing Club began in 2005 after a number of Woodbridge,
Virginia high school and middle school students attended a summer fencing camp given by
Coach Daniel Brown. Under the guidance of Coach Brown the students
wished to continue fencing, some competitively.
The club members attended some tournaments and rating rallies in 2005 and
now 3 of the 30+ fencers have achieved E or higher ratings. Around 10 of the members
are fencing competitively in both USFA and local tournaments. The team
continues to grow. The Potomac News has written 2 articles about us.
See the April 2006 article.
Green Ronin now trains at the fabulous PRINCE WILLIAM FENCING ACADEMY!
